The instructions were to not consult as this had to be done fast. I believe that they are using ANPR for many people so that they can use the roads eg blue badgers. It all depends at what time you travel and how. More people especially children are now cycling eg to school during termtime. You see families on the quieter roads on bikes and at the playgrounds. Although the majority of people have slowed down to comply with the 20 mph speed limits there are that minority who haven't just like that minority who ride their bicycles on the pavements that haven't slowed down or changed and this is something that urgently needs to change. Most people use different transport depending on what they are doing and where they are going. There are some very stubborn characters who can't think past their personal four wheels even though many could use other means of transport every so often. |
