There was no ambiguity about government advice initially - it was Stay at Home which self-evidently would require you to get things delivered if you could. The problem was that it was very difficult so most people needed to go out to shop but if you went out to buy stuff you could have got delivered you were breaking the rules. It is apparently taking between half and hour and an hour to vote in parliament today and four votes need to be held which means that MPs are standing around for up to four hours, wasting time when they could be dealing with their huge constituency caseloads. It took a couple of minutes to process votes on line. |
