Are you really unfamiliar with the concept of remote working? It is important that the House of Commons sets an example to the rest of the nation by doing as much business as they can remotely. The pressure on MPs to return to the house seems to be driven by political rather than health considerations. Ministers and particularly the Prime Minister have been exposed for their lack of detailed knowledge of key policies particularly under questioning by Keir Starmer. Having the support of lots of braying backbenchers may provide an element of cover for them but their limited abilities have already been revealed. |
