You ask whether I am “unfamiliar with the concept of remote working”. No. What made you think I was? If you had read my post carefully – which you obviously didn’t - you would have noted that I said Huq need not be in the house to follow a debate; she could follow it remotely. What is in question is voting. All she has to do to vote is stand in line and stay two metres away from the person in front and the person behind - and in so doing set an example to the country. You, I presume, have availed yourself of shopping done this way. If so, why do you feel it is too much to ask of Huq - who will, of course, be being paid to do it? Thank you for your reflections on behaviour in the House of Commons. Are you by chance a Guardian reader – or Evening Standard? Surely not the Mirror! . |
