As do I Ben we have reached an agreement with our neighbours that we share the black bin as we have one half-filled bag each week as do they. The germane point though and my reason for posting is that Ealing are spending up to £15.8 million to set up a business to bring collections back in house and are blaming Brexit for the increased costs of so doing, Neighbouring Hounslow did the same and the project costs 'ran away' with a reported £27 million being spent. Surely what was needed was effective supplier management of the extant contract. I would really like to see a public declaration of how much this move will cost us all as taxpayers over the next ten years. |
