| No point in hijacking this thread to refer to the obvious limitations of Ms. Abbott. One only has to look at the voting record and comparative performance in the House of Mr.Sharma to assess his work-rate. 65% voting record (well below average), below average contribution to debates although, to strike a balance, he does submit a lot of written questions. He he also failed to fully attend the Public Bill committees where he is chairman. All of this is in the public domain at www.theyworkforyou.com Couple this with his lack of attendance at constituency party meetings and, irrespective of politics the no-confidence vote was a 'gimme'. Race or religion have nothing to do with it, poor performance certainly does. |
