| One of the great benefits of growing your own veg is the opportunity it also provides for being generous. Giving away bags of abundant beans and baskets of tomatoes gives a great sense of benevolent well being to the giver and to the receiver. When asked what I grow, I'd say I grow goodwill and friendship. Very tasty! and well worth the effort. |
