Our early investigations show that a surprisingly large number of cyclists use the Uxbridge Road as a "long distance" (over 2miles) route. It is a pity that the cycle route from Ealing Common through to Leyland Terrace which runs parallel to the Uxbridge Road is not well used. I think I understand why. But it would be really helpful if you could tell us and if you know a friend who cycles get him/her to tell us. After we have collected evidence and made recommendations about pedestrians then we'll move on to the next most vulnerable group ...cyclists. If you are a pedestrian and have to use these lights we are still collecting data and would like to hear from you on this posting or by other means. Thank you Arthur |
