Oh dear. Why is there never any bad news in Around Ealing? Or perhaps some expressions of self-doubt or possible alternative uses of cash; or the odd article penned by someone outside the Council; and perhaps some letters from rate payers. The current isue admittedly has a feature written by/on the NHS. Did the NHS pay Ealing Council for this piece to appear? If they did it's an advertisement. To be fair there was some useful infiormation in the piece. Can't you see that every page of Around Ealing paints a rosy picture of Ealing? Much of every 137,000 copies is a sales leaflet saying how good the Council is. You presumably live in Ealing so you know that everything around Ealing is not rosy. If the Council want us all to take Around Ealing seriously they should create an editorial panel with some none Council employees on the panel. |
