| I think the conundrum is that the magazine isn't really meant to be interesting but to keep us informed of Council business. This month's edition seems much less overtly political although it does highlight the four star audit commission award to the Council. This is fair enough although perhaps a bit more context such as most Councils reaching this level would have been in order. The focus on litter shows that at least they are responsive to the negative coverage on the issue although I find the emphasis on cracking down on litter louts suggests the belief is that the litter problem is residents' fault and not the Council's. |
