| Re that the litter problem is residents' fault and not the Council's. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx that must be true Andy, only residents, ( and passers through ) can make the litter. Any area is directly the result of what the people make it, and when the people change, so does the area. I can remember an article in the Ealing Gazette a few years back , complete with photographic evidence of what was happening on the Green Man Estate. The " new " residents were not using the refuse shutes but merely throwing their rubbish out of their flat's windows onto the grounds below, which was piling up, obviously creating an eyesore and a health hazard, which the Council had to put a stop to, by I think, threats of eviction. |
