| Absolutely everything to do with civil servants. My father's electrical contracting business was making the security systems safe after the building had been evacuated. A civil servant of the appropriate rank could not be located to sign the appropriate protection papers to ebable the listing to be completed, basically because no one from LB Hounslow (also civil servants) looked hard enough and, as it was a pending bank holiday basically "couldn't be arsed". |
