| Seems council isn’t bothered about the lodge. This is the latest information about including it in any conservation area (CA), courtesy of Will French: ‘ I have just been informed by the Conservation officer that the plan to include East Lodge in the CA will not now go to the Council in Sept as part of the boroughwide review of Ealing’s heritage as he had previously said it would. This means the lodge will remain unprotected and at risk of demolition into the indeterminate future. Considering they first recommended it in 2021 and then again in 2023, they clearly are not giving any priority to it, or to Ealing's heritage generally’ |
