I never said there was multiple fatalities there (there have been though, see below), but that I remembered one when it was 40mph and it wasn't the one you're describing, it was an older man killed whilst using the crossing. Somebody was also killed there in 2023, but I don't expect you to know that as it was a driver that did it, not somebody on a bike, as if it were the latter you would certainly have remembered it. Multiple pedestrians (including children) and cyclists have been injured on that section of road including a number of people hit by vehicles whilst using pedestrian crossings. > where in truth nothing really does move above 15 miles an hour You know this is nonsense, why do you even write this stuff? Speeding is not a huge problem on Lower Boston Road, it happens, but it's not the worst spot, I never said it was. It is a major issue on Boston Road for sure and side roads off it, I walked past the aftermath of what looked like a fatal crash just the other week. |
