It was the striplights that interested me because they are so often just condidered to be only business waste when they aren't. All these DIY stores are selling this stuff so I'd expect them to have collection facilities. Recycle Your Electricals had lists. Also places to get these things fixed. PC World, Curry's etc have them but maybe only at larger stores. You always have to check as there are always going to be changes. Ealing has some street banks but they are very limited in the size of the electrical goods they will take. There used to be a problem with the Acton Morrisons one because Morrisons kept it locked. Not all staff are knowledgeable or helpful. Hounslow collect small rlectricals in carrier bags with their recycling. |
