Sorry Ben. Your video is exactly an opinion. Ealing is one of the worst greenwashing boroughs in London. The cycle lanes, such as they are, don’t mitigate the emissions from massive developmental across the borough, including the (laughably titled) Green Quarter in Southall, where existing residents have been exposed to noxious gases released from the ground on the old gasworks site. Even local councillor Peter Mason hadn’t bothered to look after the very voters he supposedly represents. The problem with you cycle fanatics is you can’t see beyond your own obsession. As others have pointed out on this thread, you have to drive to most recycling centres. If that becomes a difficult journey then people won’t bother. All the LCC led council has done is to try and make traveling by road more difficult. The cycle lanes are a big part of the problem now, and their existence only benefits a tiny minority of the population, and always will. If you don’t understand that, then you are beyond help. |
