Phlippa, You quite rightly ask, "Will they also publish how many people are waiting to be tested too?  If one person says they have waited a whole week - how many others have?", a very good question. Might I be so bold as to ask whether you have considered e-mailing this question to our three Ealing MPs and ward councillors? And why are they having to wait?
