Let's put the whole damned thing into context.


There are c.260 deaths from influenza every winter (October-March) with around ten times that number needing 'critical care' according to the BMJ.

Influenza is highly contagious, despite a supposedly effective vaccine, but doesn't create the mass hysteria that Covid-19 seems to do.
