| I am afraid that Cllr Mahfouz is not telling the whole story here. This matter was discussed at the Labour-controlled London Councils' Transport and Envirnoment Committee on 14th October. See minutes here: http://www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/London%20Councils/Item22.TECMinutesof14October2010for091210.doc Cllr Mahfouz is formally a member of this committee and should have been there. He was absent without apologies. Cllr Mahfouz will undoubtedly have been briefed about this issue before and after this meeting which he did not attend. The idea that officers decided this matter behind his back is simply risible. |
