If you need to attend a function or a meeting organised in the Town Hall, then there is no problem in using the toilet. However security is now checking staff ID and asking people walking through reception what their business is for entering the premises. If you just say that you need to use the toilet they will refuse entry. This is a public building, well equiped with CCTV cameras. There is no need to ban access to residents that need to use those facilities. Perhaps you could make use of the council on-line petition scheme, now available on the following link:http://ealing-consult.limehouse.co.uk/portal/ to get the council to chance their mind. |
