| The argument seems to have gone from the park being unusable for 115 days to 'restricted'. This is getting closer to reality. The park is very big - I sometimes run its perimeter and that is 5km. It is big enough that for the 115 days when events are on there will always been substantial parts of the park where you can walk and event activities have no impact on you. These are usually the most attractive bits of the park - most events take place on the south end where I wouldn't tend to walk even if it was busy. If damage is done to the park by events then robust processes for restitution from the organisers should be in place. Is there any reason to believe they are not? |
