Yes, I second that Eric, but a further worry is that if the planners get their way us poor old residents' association organisers will no longer receive notices that these things are happening (which is how I know about the change of use app).  I do hope everyone has sent in their representation against this change, as well as their comments on the LDF -- if not, you can do so at: http://www.ealing.gov.uk/services/environment/planning/planning_policy/local_development_framework/statementofcommunityinvolvement/
