| So the uncontrolled greed of the banks/premier league clubs with debt and dodgy financing have left us in the lurch. so whilst we will end up paying more tax to solve the problems we can not get our football boots out of the loft. so perhaps realistic club financing and the loss of a few foreign stars to spain could be the solution. suddenly arsenal end up with 4 england defenders who work together!! unfettered capitalism or stalin like socialism will not solve but create problems. so the market needs controls and so doies our football. Germany and Holland are more balanced economies. France and Italy are crazy. so perhaps a balanced british economy along with a more regulated league (like the german bundesliga) will bring us success on nthe economic and football front |
