| I thought that parks were grass and trees and flowers and ducks and swings. And I have been upset by TV garden makeovers that involve covering soil (a rather important element to a garden I would have thought) with decking, chippings, slabs etc. Now the TV makeover has come to Dean Gardens W13. We never saw a plan or an elevation or an artist's impression before work started but of course we only live here. Two enormous bites have been taken out of the grass at two corners and at some expense £200,000? Grass is now chippings and boulders and brick piers. Probably be alright when finished and fountains? are playing on the boulders. What do you think? |
