David, Sorry to hear of your problems. Please don't take the bags down to the dump. Please call 020 8825 6000, the Council's help desk. In my experience they sort things out the same day or the next day. Sometimes our collections are not quite as sharp as we would wish them to be. If the public phones the number above problems will get sorted out and supervisors can talk to crews and ensure that it doesn't happen again - at least for a while. On the other hand if you just grin and bear it no-one will be any the wiser and the council will blithely assume everything is great. On the whole it is. But call 020 8825 6000 if you see anything wrong with one of the council's services. |
