| It appears the world and their mother of were represented at Cannes. I think the question could be better asked - who wasn't in Cannes. West London were there - http://chartlane.typepad.com/chartlane/west-london-at-mipim.html As were the Corporation of London, Luton, Nottingham, Birmingham....plus others I am sure. Does this all sound like a complete boondoggle for local council representatives or what ? A few days away in Cannes smooching the developers with a glass of chilled wine and a nice hotel/meal away. What would assuage the Ealing council tax payers is to know if there were any firm leads/opportunities that came from this or prior visits to this conference. Also - Why couldn't we have a group attending that represented all London boroughs - or am I being too simplistic ? |
