| Patricia my fear is that LB Ealing is getting into bed again with big business/property developers. As Council Tax payers we haven't a clue what is going on and in any decision making process we are often held at arm's length from the facts. It is likely that many of our elected members are also unsure. Cllr Millican will no doubt make everything clear for us on this forum. A ticket for MIPIM costs £1250 and a delegate will need travel food and accomodation. In Cannes that easily sees off my hard earned annual Council Tax contribution. To "see and be seen" at £4000 a go benefits whom? I was looking for Ealing delegates at last week's Ecobuild exhibition at Earl's Court. That was free! I saw none but of course I wasn't there every day. Cllr Millican might be able to tell us who from his regeneration team went there and what that cost. I suppose they couldn't go to both could they? |
