Yet another Ealing council ploy for telling the Muppets that vote for them that they will take their views into account. Like their council satisfaction survey that always seems to suggest that the majority of residents think they are doing a good job, this one wants a pat on the back for their roll out of EV charging points - https://www.ealingtoday.co.uk/default.asp?section=community&link=https://neighbournet.com/server/common/eaparking031.htm. I have a hybrid car and would not consider any roadside charging point on the grounds of cost (highlighted by Which magazine). A VAT rate of 20% compared to just 5% if you do it at home is a big block on EV roll out I'd suggest. |
