Is the penny finally dropping? Don’t you realise that creating conflict has been the plan from the outset? Not just Uxbridge Road but on plenty of other roads in London. It’s what happens when transport policy is hijacked by extremist groups. Cycling won’t ever be more than a minority activity despite everything claimed by the LCC and their political puppets. For most it’s an occasional leisure activity, not a daily mode of transport. The vast amounts spent on infrastructure that’s poorly designed and very underused would be put to better use in improving reliability and accessibility of public transport. |
