| It's not Ealing Council....entirely. The Mayor of London and under not just this incumbent but his predecessors have been complicit in engineering a climate of overdensification and played London, inner and outer into a huge toy for developers creating demand that is insatiable and will exceed supply. This Mayor is on record claiming he would put a stop to overseas investment sales and limit luxury hi rise developments for overseas sales. All a big part of his nomination for Mayor Campaign - along with his "Son of a Bus driver' which it turns out he thoroughly resented ...until it became a useful election tool. Ealing though does have a lot to answer for in its 'deals' with A2 Dominion amongst others and that has never been brought to book. Maybe with the fallout of the Post Office cover up this might one day come out in the wash. But as we see the perpetrators have still to be brought to task |
