| I’m guessing it’s the increase in business rates? Two businesses in Pitshanger Lane have been affected. The owner of Present Company has sold up because of this, letting agreed according to the placard but the staff don’t know to whom( or at least that’s what they tell me).Busbys hairdressers have closed their present site for the same reason but moving to a considerably smaller site across the road. I anticipate seeing more of the same despite that the Lane is well supported compared to many shopping venues. |
