How many MPs have been deselected under Corbyn? Zero. Far too much gets made of 'purging' and 're-education'. There are no examples of this. MPs represent their constituents, but also their (local) party. If local party members are dissatisfied with their MP, then a reselection process seems perfectly fair. In fact, if every party did this automatically for every GE, that would actually be an excellent move. |
