The last time my food box collection was missed I didn't report it to the following day and was told that it wouldn't be collected because I hadn't reported it in time. I just kept on entering the report form everyday and it was eventually collected a couple of days later. I can understand why they would ask for timely reporting. Some people might use it as an excuse to get their waste collected after forgetting to put it out or after a party which had generated lots to collect. However, the current system seems so unreliable that there will have to be lots of secondary collections anyway. |
