| Not sure whether talk of treason is meant to be a parody of some of the things people are saying at the moment but even the most passionate Leaver has to accept the mandate that the Government has at the moment is very uncertain. Theresa May appears to have backed herself into a corner - she and at least half her MPs clearly believe this isn't the right direction to take the country in but they know their party would split down the middle if any change of course was proposed. The only thing that is stopping this happening anyway is the sheer incompetence of the Labour leadership and the apparent failure of the Lib Dems to take advantage of the situation. |
