So what do you do about the through traffic, Ben? There’s a huge volume of that in Ealing. Or do you just think penalising residents is the answer? Simple-minded ‘solutions’ to perceived ‘problems’ invariably makes things worse. It’s why the country is in such a mess. There isn’t actually a massive traffic problem in Ealing, it’s just the Labour council jumping on a bandwagon to virtue signal. A lot of councillors, including Mason, happily jump in a car when it suits. Perhaps you should look into the emissions from construction work, which is happening all over the borough, a lot of it in built up areas along Uxbridge Road. 38 percent of all emissions comes from the construction industry. The eco warriors in Perceval House even think it’s acceptable to build on the flood plain at Gurnell. How does that chime with your campaign? Perhaps you should just concentrate on living your own best life instead of pontificating at others. |
