When Bell was removed as Leader, I was content that he no longer had too much influence in Ealing Council. I still believe that his failure to respond to the matter I put to him demonstrated him to be “a liar by omission” and he remains loathsome in other respects as posters on the forum have been reminding us. I enjoyed his humiliation at the meeting at which the new regime took over when the man who had stabbed him the back, Mason, was singing his praises, a delightful twist of the knife, I thought. As to Mason, he has promised to address matters that concern residents. I took him at his word and wrote to him over a month ago (June 13) about a matter that has been of concern to me and neighbours for some time: a corrupt practice which has become the institutionalised in the Council’s complaints procedure. Not even an acknowledgment. A little reminder is called for, I think. Next, as you suggest, the acceptability of Najsarek. |
