Julian Bell has now lied to Andrew Farmer TEN TIMES - ten times and counting. In response to Mr Havelock, there is a problem with complaining about councillors. The person who first decides whether the complaint can go ahead is the council's legal officer, Helen Harris. She is the problem. The way she discharges her obligation is clear enough from posts on the forum some time ago by Victor Mishiku. At present, there is a formal complaint outstanding against her for her conduct in respect of another matter. The council (Dep. Leader Yvonne Johnson) is proving a little reluctant to have it plausibly, that is independently, considered. Until it is, Ms Harris’s suitability to fulfil any of her special roles must be in question. She not only decides whether complaints against councillors go ahead. We also have to trust her to preside honestly over elections. |
