I switched from Sky to Virgin 3 years ago. Broadband and landline, £28 pm. I had terrible problems with the broadband signal and my phone didn’t work for almost 4 months. I was never off the mobile to them. I was supposed to get financial compensation -I didn’t. Eventually I switched back to BT for the landline so because I no longer had a “bundle” my broadband-only bill went up to £43 pm. It’s since been increased twice to £49.50. The signal drops several times a week and although I’m charged for 200 speed I only get that right beside the router, which has been changed twice. Any other room in the house I’m lucky if I even get 30 speed, and that’s with power-line clones that I had to buy over and above, on the advice of a Virgin engineer. I wouldn’t touch Virgin with a barge-pole. They are the worst outfit I have ever dealt with, with the exception of Ealing Council.
