The overarching reason for the introduction of resident's parking permits in Ealing was revenue generation. Were this not the case they would, as in Hillingdon, be free for the first car in each household. As such you have absolutely no hope in persuading Ealing Council to truncate its revenue stream by limiting the number of permits that can be issued to each property irrespective of local considerations. 'Bleed the motorist dry' is the current maxim and they will issue as many permits as they can. Sorry. |
