It's maybe worth remembering that Woolworths started out as a "five and dime" store and Poundworld is just another version of that. I had a look today and they are different to most poundshops in that they don't stock too much of the wacky tinfoil screwdrivers and Hogu Buss aftershave. It's mainly brand names and sruff you would go back for.. toiletries and foodstuffs. They even sell fresh milk at 2 litres for a nicker! |
