They had a place in Royal Exchange building in the 70's and beyond. In that decade they had a SALE, which was a real eye opener. A document case, which consisted of a sheet of brown folded leather and which bore a price tag of £1000, headscarves £ 250 and a man's woollie " hat " at £50, which elsewhere was £2 max. And that was 30 years ago. And plain ash trays seemingly made of china, at £100. I no longer work in that area so I don't know if Hermes are still there. L. Vuitton was next door. |
