| Paul is proving himself the exemplar of know nothing. One suspects he carries a little card with him to remind him to check his meds every so often. Just because the campaign groups he references want these junctions changed doesn’t mean there was actually a need for it to be done at these locations. Perhaps the sage of Hanwell could provide accident statistics to show there was a requirement. The Department for Transport carries out a lot of research to ensure good junction design and the primary safety concern is good visibility for all. As Arthur pointed out, the new designs make it difficult to execute turns safely. Should there be an accident caused by poor junction design then LBE will be liable for negligence. I wonder if they have thought of that. Don’t bother taking Paul’s bait on Stop and Shop+ Arthur. He’s a moron and has clearly not bothered reading anything previously posted. |
