| Sadly it does. People seem to lose the power of rational thought when it comes to elections. Either the track record of the party or the competence of the candidate is ignored. My own votes locally have been split across multiple parties for many years and are "earned" not from blind loyalty but by, at least, purporting to offer competence. A quality which appears to have totally evaded many red rosette wearers locally. |
