| This is a diabolical proposal. Hounslow is the planning authority - but the park is jointly owned by Hounslow and Ealing. Reference is P/2025/3274. Comments deadline is 17 December 2025. 118 days/year of no access to large areas of the park, subjecting the ground to uses never intended and noise and possible anti-social behaviour. FOR 10 YEARS!!! The commercialisation of Ealing parks is not welcomed by me. Am I alone in wanting the parks to be maintained not 'developed' or 'improved'? Forget temporary events what we want are permanent 'events' including extensive free access for all members of the public, turf, gardens and tree maintenance, inexpensive car parking and cafe facilities, firm maintained walking paths, lots of benches, good quality sports surfaces for casual and organised sports - and regular security patrols. |
