| What the BBC article totally omits is the fact that a large number of fans drive and park in roads within walking distance of the ground. Just ask anyone who lives in South Ealing. The scheme can’t check on that. Of course some fans will cycle, but a large number like a pint or two before, during and after the match. I’m sure Ben is only too aware of the offence of cycling while unfit through drink or drugs (Road Traffic Act 1988), and doubtless would condemn such behaviour! |
