| I believe that a general election was held and therefore we have to accept the result. That does not mean we cannot express dislike of the government, but I do agree that a petition will prove fruitless. I am perplexed why the country seemed to be ok to have so many changes of Prime Minister and government ministers from 2019 to 2023 without people signing petitions for a GE! While the/any Labour Government may not be for everyone they were last in power in 2010 and so personally I think it's too soon to judge them and ridiculous to oust them after 4-5 months. After all I am not sure the alternatives would be capable of forming a government at the moment! |
