You can be passive aggressive all you like Dominik, it’s standard for cycling zealots. Do I claim to be father to all children in Ealing? No. But I have kids and I know a lot of kids and their parents. Ironically, the true believers in cycling probably do more to put their kids off by forcing them out on the streets. Paul’s treatment of his son is tantamount to child abuse when he videos his confrontational approach to other road users and posts it on the internet. There’s a twit on my road who does the same but doesn’t realise how miserable he made his kids. You probably know him. A lot of kids think it’s boring/uncomfortable/uncool. And closing roads won’t make them play out. Pop down to Grove Pari in Chiswick and see how few kids are out and about there most of the time. Your argument is specious. The Line bike kids are a minority, as you well know. Just a bit of fun for them. Your post is nonsense. Perhaps you went on the vodka a bit earlier tonight. What work would I have seen of yours? I doubt it’s memorable. Otherwise you wouldn’t be wasting your time on forums like this. Do try harder to construct a coherent argument. Provide your data analysis of the accidents on the roads you propose to close. Oh, and the irony of your ideal socialist utopia in Ealing is laughable. Surely anyone of polish heritage knows they don’t work. |
