Lots of governments throughout the world have set out with a resolution to tackle this issue with no success. Ultimately operating under several tax regimes will always allow a company to reduce its tax burden by transfer pricing. I'm not endorsing this practice just saying that tackling it is fiendishly complex and probably ultimately fruitless. You also need to consider that recent reductions in corporate tax rates seem to have led to a big increase in corporation tax receipts. |
