| Some appointments are now up to 9 months to a year from initial consultations. Apparently, ( according to staff acquaintances ) everything is being left in turmoil and hived off to Northwick Park. Some clinics and services cannot cope and are being deprived of resources. As a comparison those referred to Kensington and Chelsea are being seen within 3 to 4 weeks. Ealing Hospital is a much better Hospital than it was 15 years ago but this hacking of services and barmy relocation of services which bears no relation to local demographics and transport links is completely barmy as is selling off NHS sites. When they are gone it will be unaffordable to replace and impossible to locate in the community. |
