| As I understand it, many generations of Palestinian refugees hope to return to 'Palestine' so intentionally don't seek citizenship elsewhere. Equally, Egypt and other neighbouring countries maintain closed borders with Gaza because Israel would be only too pleased for the Palestinian population of Gaza be able to leave and live somewhere else as part of what appears to be their ethnic cleansing and territorial expansion plans. Meanwhile in Lebanon, it looks like it's 'from the sea to the river', but in this case for Israel to clear and occupy the land as far as the Litani river. |
